Job summary

GH Engage, headquartered in New York City, is seeking an Electrical BIM Engineer to support planning, design, coordination and delivery of major electrical construction projects.

You will produce detailed electrical models and drawings, coordinate with project teams, subcontractors and design consultants, and apply Revit, AutoCAD and other BIM tools while adhering to NEC and construction practices. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years as Electrical Engineer, BIM Engineer or Electrical Designer in construction.
• Proficient in Revit for 3D modelling and detailed drawings with multidisciplinary coordination.
• Experience developing and maintaining electrical models and drawings.
• Ability to produce layout drawings, single-line diagrams, and panel schedules.
• Knowledge of NEC, electrical codes and construction practices.
• Experience coordinating models with other disciplines to support clash detection.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to manage deadlines.

GH Engage are proud to be representing one of New York's leading electrical contractors, with the appointment for an Electrical BIM Engineer.

Headquartered in New York City, this position will support the planning, design, coordination and delivery of major electrical construction projects. You will produce detailed electrical models and drawings while collaborating with project teams, subcontractors and design consultants throughout all phases of delivery.

Key requirements:

• A minimum of two years experience working as an Electrical Engineer, BIM Engineer or Electrical Designer within the construction sector.
• Proven proficiency in Revit, including 3D modelling, multidisciplinary coordination and the production of detailed drawings.
• Experience developing and maintaining electrical models and drawings.
• The ability to produce layout drawings, one-line diagrams, and panel schedules.
• A working knowledge of AutoCAD, Navisworks, Revizto and other BIM software.
• A sound understanding of the NEC, relevant electrical codes and typical construction practices.
• Experience coordinating building-services models with other disciplines to support clash detection.
• The ability to support technical submittals, material take-offs and equipment specifications.
• Strong communication, attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
• The ability to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines within a fast-paced construction environment.
• A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
