Job summary

OEG, Inc. is seeking a BIM/CAD Operator to create and modify electrical systems in a virtual environment using industry software. The role requires proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and related tools and a background in electrical construction.

You will set up views, annotate shop drawings, and ensure accuracy for field installation while collaborating with the design team and other trades. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in CAD or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2 years in electrical construction with knowledge of electrical drafting standards.
• Experience with Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, Trimble and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Model electrical systems based on markup drawings or verbal direction.
• Set up Revit views and sheets for shop drawings.
• Annotate and dimension shop drawings for field installation.
• Markup PDFs using Bluebeam Revu and communicate with team.
• Prepare copies for transmittal to other parties.
• Download drawings from SharePoint/FTP/BIM360 and verify accuracy.
• Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned.
