Job summary

National Fuel is seeking an Electronic Technician for the Concord Station in Springville, NY. This full-time Operations role focuses on installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical, control and automation systems used at pipeline and compressor sites.

The position requires an Associate’s Degree in Electronics (or equivalent), a valid driver’s license, and ability to travel to multiple sites. Starting pay is $46.90/hour, with progression to $49.37 after six months and $50.37 after

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Electronics or equivalent work experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various work locations.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA, NEC, single & three-phase systems, digital & analog electronics.
• Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with computer-based diagnostics and installation.
• Outstanding leadership skills to take a leading role in electrical and automation systems.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather and in hazardous environments.
• Live within reasonable commute of Concord Station or be willing to relocate (6 months relocation window).
• Availability to work Monday–Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and may include overtime, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain electrical power circuits and automation systems at pipeline and compressor sites.
• Install, inspect, calibrate, and troubleshoot electronic equipment such as telemetry, PLCs (including Allen-Bradley), modems, transducers, sensing devices, radio & satellite equipment, RTUs, and cabling.
• Maintain power distribution systems including MCCs, UPS, generators, and VFDs.
• Provide coverage for electrical, mechanical, instrumentation and control logic systems for gas engines and turbines; inspect third-party work for safety and NEC compliance.
