Job summary

Rex Moore is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support and manage electrical projects from inception to completion. You will coordinate design, testing, and commissioning, and work with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to deliver on time and within budget.

This role will prepare you to advance to a Project Manager level, with responsibilities spanning safety, quality, scheduling, cost control, and team leadership. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 4 years as a Project Engineer or similar in the commercial electrical industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and their components.
• Strong computer skills: Outlook, Word, Excel, Microsoft AX, Microsoft Project.
• Strong math and deductive reasoning.
• Ability to multi-task and lead/mentor other team members.

Responsibilities

• Support and manage electrical projects from inception to completion.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate design, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Manage project finances, cash flow, and cost projections.
• Ensure safety, quality standards, and timely delivery.
• Oversee subcontractors and vendor coordination.
