**Assistant Project Manager**

Are you looking to begin a rewarding career in project management?

The Assistant Project Manager reports directly to the Project Manager or Senior Project Manager. This client-facing role requires building relationships both in and out of the office. The core responsibility is to learn through on-the-job experience, peer engagement, and technical training.

Essential Job Functions

• Assist in estimating project scope and costs
• Manage projects with subcontractors
• Communicate with clients and subcontractors
• Participate in project coordination and meetings as requested
• Research and prepare change requests for design issues
• Recommend solutions to design document problems
• Monitor field and contract work for compliance
• Assist with the submittal process
• Assist in tracking and completing billing

Required Education & Experience

• College degree, journeyman’s license, or master electrician’s license
• Understanding of electrical installations
• Strong computer skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in industrial construction/contracting
• Electrical contracting assistant project management experience
• Familiarity with computer-based estimating
• Knowledge of billing and collections
