Job summary

Owen Electric Company Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support our Commercial Electrical Project Management team. The role focuses on growing in a fast-paced environment while delivering large-scale electrical construction projects.

The successful candidate will assist with coordination, documentation, procurement, and meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders. Strong organization and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in commercial electrical construction or project coordination.
• Proven strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Familiarity with construction documents, drawings, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with daily coordination and administrative tasks.
• Track project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, RFIs, and submittals.
• Support procurement efforts, including material tracking and vendor coordination.
• Coordinate with field supervisors to ensure site needs are met.
• Help prepare change orders, progress reports, and schedules.
• Participate in project meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders.
