Job summary

Midway Staffing is seeking an Assembly Technician to join a growing team in Brookston, IN. You will perform wiring, assembly, and installation work on switchgear projects under the Shop Manager's supervision, following safety protocols and job instructions to ensure quality and efficiency.

This full-time, on-site role offers a daytime schedule Monday–Friday, with pay ranging from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour. Ideal candidates have at least one year of related experience, basic computer skills, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of experience in electrical, mechanical, or assembly environments
• Basic computer literacy
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
• Commitment to workplace safety and housekeeping standards
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Utilize common electrical, mechanical, and carpentry shop tools safely and effectively
• Assemble electrical sheet metal enclosures
• Perform wiring and basic installation work
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Complete assigned tasks and assist with general housekeeping duties
• Perform other duties as assigned
