Job summary

Echandia Marine US LLC is hiring an Electrical Assembly Technician to join our onsite production team. The role involves hands-on assembly, testing and support of electrical and battery system components in a fabrication environment.

Responsibilities include building subassemblies, wiring, functional testing and documentation while ensuring safety and quality standards for marine use. Candidates should have at least 2 years in related roles and be proficient with common test equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with relevant vocational certification, or equivalent electrical assembly experience.
• Minimum 2 years in electrical assembly, manufacturing or related role; battery systems or wiring harness experience preferred.
• Competent with hand tools and basic test equipment; familiarity with IPC soldering standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical subassemblies, modules and battery units per drawings and spec; terminate and harness cables.
• Perform electrical and functional tests; record results with appropriate test equipment.
• Inspect components and diagnose faults; escalate complex issues to senior staff or engineering.
• Follow build, test and quality procedures; maintain accurate records and flag improvements.
• Maintain safety practices when working with electrical systems and batteries.
