Job summary

Surestaff is immediately hiring an Electrical Assembly Associate in Carol Stream, IL to join a large client’s core operations. You will ensure that quality product is produced, assembled, packaged, and ready for delivery to the end customer.

SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All Temp-to-Hire employees are offered competitive compensation $19.50/HR as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience required.
• Experience with hand tools and power tools.
• Experience with electrical components is a plus.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to stand, bend, push and pull up to 40 lbs.
• Knowledge of basic safety rules.
• Professional attitude and demeanor.
• Respond willingly to changes in assignments.

Responsibilities

• Unwrap, unload, and load batteries into cabinets to prepare orders for shipment.
• Follow and understand SOPs, Work Instructions, and procedures related to manufacturing of quality products.
• Comply with quality procedures including calibrated tools, preventative maintenance tools, perishable materials and handling of defective materials.
• Accurately record meter readings including voltage to ensure compliance with standards.
• Produce work safely and efficiently while meeting all quality standards.
• Produce assemblies within standard lead time per workbench and clockings.
• Perform visual inspection of material before and after assembly, including video and photos.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area per housekeeping standards, including tool carts.
