Job summary

Eaton Corporation is seeking an Assembler - 1st Shift at our Klockner Dr site in Richmond, VA. The role builds sub-assemblies and assemblies for PDUs, RPPs, STS, and transformers with attention to quality and safety.

Responsibilities include following SOPs, using cranes and winding machines, inspecting materials, and maintaining calibration. Candidates should be able to lift 50 lbs and work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Candidates within 50 miles of Richmond, VA preferred.
• Experience with production, packaging, or construction is a plus.
• Familiarity with SOPs and basic computer use is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Build sub-assemblies and assemblies per SOPs.
• Operate heavy industrial equipment including cranes and winding machines.
• Visually inspect materials before and after assembly.
• Use hand and power tools to assemble or repair products.
• Ensure quality by inspecting completed assemblies and calibrating tools.
