• Experience with crimping, wire stripping, and cable/harness assembly.
• Hands-on with hand tools, drills, and precision assembly equipment.
• Familiar with IPC/WHMA‑A‑620 standards.
• Soldering certification is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine wiring and electrical cabinet wiring.
• Build and wire electrical panels, sub-panels, and assemblies.
• Assemble cables and complex wiring harnesses.
• Soldering, crimping, wire stripping, and termination.
• Read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Work with wire gauges ranging from 10–32 AWG.
• Install D‑sub connectors and other electrical components.
• Troubleshoot assembly issues and document defects.
• Support testing and verification of completed assemblies.
• Work with Manufacturing Engineering on continuous improvement and corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate assembly and testing documentation.
• Follow 5S, lean manufacturing, and ISO 9001 quality practices.

Job description

We are seeking an Electrical & Assembly Technician to join a growing manufacturing team in Shrewsbury, MA. This is a hands‑on position focused primarily on machine wiring, electrical panel assembly, cable/harness building, soldering, and crimping.

If you have experience wiring industrial equipment, building electrical panels, or assembling complex electrical systems from schematics, we'd like to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

• Perform machine wiring and electrical cabinet wiring
• Build and wire electrical panels, sub-panels, and assemblies
• Assemble cables and complex wiring harnesses
• Perform soldering, crimping, wire stripping, and termination
• Read and work from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings

What We’re Looking For
