Job summary

OGI Process Equipment, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Assembly Technician to assemble and install electrical control panel assemblies, conduit runs, and perform device wiring. You will read blueprints and specifications to ensure correct assembly and function.

Responsibilities include wiring, conduit installation, and testing with a multimeter in a non-temperature-controlled manufacturing environment. Monday–Thursday schedule with overtime possible.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • 2‑year technical degree or related field preferred.
  • 1 to 5 years related experience in electrical wiring in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, or wire diagrams.
  • Experience running electrical conduit.
  • Experience wiring electrical products and in industrial panel fabrication and testing.
  • Good problem‑solving and troubleshooting ability.

Other Requirements
  • Work Environment: Non‑temperature‑controlled environment with loud noises, dust, dirt, and metal particles; personal protective equipment required (noise/hearing protection, safety glasses with side shields, OSHA‑compliant safety boots/shoes).
  • Physical Demands: Stand for long periods; walk, reach, ascend/descend ladders, bend, kneel, and stoop; occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds; requires good vision (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth).
  • Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: Full‑time, Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; additional hours and weekends may be required.
  • Travel: No travel required.
