Job summary

Engineering Specialists, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Electrical Assembly Technician in Milwaukee. This role offers a family-oriented work environment with flexible hours. You will work primarily on assembling components for industrial control panels.

Qualifications

  • Ability to demonstrate mechanical aptitude or previous experience with basic power tools.
  • 1-2 years of general assembly or control panel building experience is preferred.
  • Hold a valid driver’s license with the ability to travel.

Responsibilities

  • Drill, tap, mount, and assemble components for industrial control panel fabrication.
  • Strip, terminate and crimp electrical wires using power and hand tools.
  • Complete projects accurately within allotted project hours.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to demonstrate mechanical aptitude or previous experience using basic power and/or hand tools.
Preferred Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of general assembly or control panel building experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 2 year degree in Automation Systems or related field.
  • Hold valid driver’s license with ability to travel to other work locations.
Electrical Assembly Work Environment/Physical Requirements:

Work environment is light industrial, with exposure to a moderate level of noise. Daily operations in work environment includes the use of basic power tools, hand tools, and repetitive hand motion in manipulating electrical wires. Sitting, standing, and bending at waist for up to 3 consecutive hours at time. May need to reach above shoulder height for extended periods of time. May be exposed to fumes and airborne particles. Must be able to climb stairs, and move freely between aisles of parts, equipment, shelving units. Must be able to carry or lift at least 25 pounds.
