Job summary

Capital Electric, part of the Sonepar group, is hiring a Technical Modifications Specialist in Charlotte, NC. You will build and assemble projects per specifications, meet production schedules, and collaborate across departments to deliver quality products.

The role requires at least two years of electrical/mechanical experience, strong wiring diagram knowledge, and the ability to lift 75 lbs. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years electrical and/or mechanical background, including warehousing and assembly.
• Proficient in MS Office: Excel, Word, Power Point.
• Strong mechanical and analytical aptitude, with wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.
• Good manual dexterity with power/hand tools and engraving equipment.
• Ability to work independently and across departments; lift 75 lbs; color vision adequate.

Responsibilities

• Assemble projects to customer and/or vendor specifications.
• Assist in production of various phases of assemblies, including turnkey projects.
• Perform light manufacturing in a fast-paced build shop following defined processes.
• Interact with Capital team members, other departments, and vendors.
• Follow all Capital policies, guidelines, and procedures (safety, ethics, etc.).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
