Job summary

Dover Food Retail (DFR) is seeking an Assembly Technician to set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot manufacturing line equipment at a fixed workstation. You will move, pack, and sort materials and monitor output quality to identify and address defective products.

This role requires working under limited supervision, providing guidance to junior employees, and maintaining accurate daily production records for performance analysis.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of operational procedures and tools.
• Maintains accurate daily assembly production records for input to manufacturing performance analysis.
• Provides assistance and training to lower level employees.
• Works under limited supervision for routine situations.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot manufacturing assembly line machinery at fixed workstation positions.
• Move, pack, and sort raw materials or finished goods.
• Monitor the quality of output and identify/ discard or re‑manufacture faulty products.
• Maintain accurate daily production records as input to performance analysis.
