Job summary

Power Flame, an ASTEC brand, is a manufacturer of gas and oil burners and combustion control systems for commercial, industrial, and process applications in Parsons, Kansas. Our mission is to design, build, and deliver innovative solutions for global customers.

As an assembler focusing on wiring, you will follow specification sheets and BOMs to mount components, install piping and valves, and complete final wiring.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in assembly in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read specification sheets, drawings, and BOMs.
• Basic math skills and use of hand and electrical tools.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a noisy environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and mount purchased parts, piping, valving, tubing, and wiring per drawings and BOMs.
• Lift motor/blower assemblies into mounting positions and install pilots.
• Cut and install conduit, install chassis, and complete final wiring.
• Follow safety rules and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Perform other duties as required.
