Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking an assembly technician in Wisconsin to mount electrical components, route cables, and wire termination for control panels. You will review drawings and cut sheets to ensure secure connections and proper installation while troubleshooting panels for proper operation.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for portions of shifts, and maintaining safety and quality standards in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to lift 50 lbs regularly.
• Ability to stand for 2–3 hours during shifts.
• Comfort with bending, twisting, and reaching as part of assembly work.

Responsibilities

• Mount electrical components, route cables and wire termination of components.
• Review electrical drawings, cut sheets, and termination sheets to ensure all electrical connections are secure and correctly installed.
• Troubleshoot control panels to ensure they are functioning properly.
• Identify and report issues or concerns with the assembly process to team lead/supervisor.
• Prepare parts for sub-assemblies and cut wires according to wiring diagrams and schematics provided.
• Use power tools accurately and safely.
• Partner with the Production Lead to meet standard operation procedures.
• Ensure safety policies are followed.
