Job summary

Gojob is hiring Electrical Assemblers for a multinational company located in Fairfield, OH. Ideal candidates have experience with electrical work, can read a tape measure, and can cut, strip and pull wire up to 4/0 using power tools and conduit equipment.

Shifts include 1st shift 5am-3:30pm at $20.00/hr and 2nd shift 3:30pm-2:00am at $22.00/hr. A high school diploma or GED is required, with ability to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders.

Qualifications

• Proficient with tape measures.
• Experience cutting, stripping, and pulling wire.
• Experience hanging ladder racks and cable trays.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders.
• Comfortable standing, walking, kneeling, bending, and sitting for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Bend conduit and pull wire.
• Hang ladder racks and tie down cable.
• Use power tools to drill, tighten and cut.
• Read, set and use a torque wrench.
• Work individually or as part of a team on projects.
• Follow safety procedures and electrical codes.

• 2nd Shift M-Th 3:30pm-2:00am @ $22.00/hr

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Bend conduit, pull wire, hang ladder rack and tie down cable
• Use power tools to correctly drill, tighten and cut
• Ability to read, set and use a torque wrench
• Works individually or as part of a team to successfully complete projects
• Follows safety procedures and adheres to electrical codes

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED

• Comfortable standing, walking, kneeling, bending, and sitting for extended periods

Preferred Skills

• Industrial electrical experience (commercial experience accepted)
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings
• Experience installing industrial distribution panels and cabinets
• Familiarity with 3-phase power installation
• Understanding of wiring schematics and electrical diagrams
• Proficiency in using power hand tools
