Job summary

Spherion Gainesville, FL is hiring Electrical Assemblers in Alachua, FL. The role involves assembling large, heavy parts for subassemblies using hand and power tools, with room for advancement and excellent benefits. This is a full-time position with first shift hours.

Responsibilities include reading specs, assembling to spec, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and be willing to overtime/shift work as needed.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Experience with low voltage controls, automotive/vehicle wiring, or AC/DC equipment repair/installation preferred.
• Must be able to read blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized electrical assembly.
• Review specs for assembly and special options.
• Check bins for adequate supplies.
• Ensure correct fit, parts, and sub-assemblies per specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
