Job summary

Tyonek Native Corporation is seeking an Electrical Assembler to join our Alabama manufacturing team. The role involves assembling, testing, and reworking cables, harnesses, and electromechanical assemblies per drawings and documentation.

You will operate automated tooling, maintain quality, and support continuous improvement in a defense/aerospace setting. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, 0-2 years' experience, and the ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-2 years' experience in electrical assembly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics and instructions.
• Ability to demonstrate mechanical assembly of electrical/electronic sub-assemblies.
• Knowledge of build-to-print processes and aerospace specs is a plus.
• Certifications IPC-WHMA-A-620 and J-STD-001 are desirable.
• Completion of Electrical Assembler I training with certification eligibility.
• Must read, write and communicate coherently in English.
• General computer skills and use of basic software.
• Drug-free workplace; pre-employment substance abuse testing.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products according to routers, drawings and documentation.
• Operate automatic stripping, crimping, wire cutting and basic test equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Collaborate with co-workers to ensure a constructive team environment.
• Maintain acceptable test pass rates and quality acceptance rates.
• Use manual hand tools for assembly and repetitive operations.
• Check stock bins for supplies and coordinate with material handler as needed.
• Resolve assembly/packing problems with guidance from Production Manager.
• Contribute to productivity and quality improvement efforts.
• Adhere to company standards, policies and procedures.
