Job summary

Signify, in Hicksville, NY, is seeking an Electrical Assembler-General Helper to join our manufacturing team on an on-site basis. You will assemble, wire, inspect, test and package fixtures and ensure accurate work order data while adhering to safety requirements.

The role offers a starting rate of $17.54 per hour, with union recognition under IBEW Local 3, and opportunities for hands-on growth. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and can lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal format in English.
• Ability to lift/carry fixtures weighing 50lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, wire, inspect, test and package fixtures via an assembly line or workbench process
• Enter complete and accurate work order information as required
• Perform quality checks consistent with the inspection and control plans
• Work with various groups of employees in team-based environment
• Know and follow established job specific and site wide health and safety procedures and rules
