Job summary

BW Papersystems in Baltimore, MD is seeking an experienced Electrical Assembler/Electrician to work on large, custom-built machinery. You will perform hands-on electrical wiring, wiring diagram interpretation, and assembly of components.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of electrical wiring or an relevant degree and can troubleshoot, test machines, and maintain safety standards. This on-site role offers growth with a global manufacturing leader; compensation ranges per hour and geographic location

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, specifications, and work orders
• Assemble and install electrical components, wiring, subassemblies, and support structures
• Label, wire, and connect switch boxes and control panel terminal boards
• Inspect wiring for coding accuracy, proper termination, continuity, and identify shorts or grounds
• Assist in testing completed machines and troubleshooting electrical issues
• Document work to meet quality and production requirements
• Collaborate with team members to resolve quality, cost, or production challenges
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and proper care of tools & equipment
• Multi‑task and shift priorities as needed throughout the day

Basic Qualification & Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED with 3+ years of electrical wiring or installation experience AND/OR
• 2‑year degree or certification in electrical systems with 2+ years of experience

the approximate pay range for this position is $23/HR - $33/HR. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
