Job summary

Munters Corporation is seeking an Electrical Assembler and Wire- for the 1st shift in Selma, Texas. You will pre-assemble HVAC unit electrical panels and wire panels following diagrams and BOMs, ensuring quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Pre-assemble HVAC unit electrical panels and wire panels per diagrams and BOM.
• Validate sheet metal and purchased parts against BOM and notify if discrepancies.
• Wire panels according to wiring diagrams, check gauge and type, and interpret schematics.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Work from BOM, panel layout, wiring diagram, and work instruction to pre-assemble panels and wire as required.
• Attach components, verify wire gauge, and route/bundle wires per standards.
• Rack completed panels and move to staging areas; notify supervisor of issues with equipment, materials, or documentation.
• Maintain organization and safety in all duties and participate in team meetings as needed.

We pride ourselves on fostering a dynamic and inclusive work environment where interns are valued members of the team and are given meaningful projects to work on.Scope:Perform duties to pre-assemble HVAC unit electrical panels and wire panels in compliance with prescribed diagrams and instructions, making minor decisions as required.Essential Duties:Work from work schedule, bill of materials (BOM), panel layout, wiring diagram, text sheet, and work instruction.Validate and inspect sheet metal and purchased parts to ensure compliance with BOM. Notify supervisor of any discrepancies. Apply purchased panel to sheet metal backing and install in accordance to instruction.Attach specified components. Verify wire gauge and type requirements and interpret wiring diagrams. Pull wires as required, wire panel in accordance to provided diagram, panel layout, and electrical schematics. Route and bundle wires and cables in compliance with established electrical standards.Rack completed panels and move to designated area for staging or subsequent operations.Notify team leader or other appropriate resource when problems arise concerning equipment, operations, materials, inventory, or documentation.Other Duties:Perform or assist with any operations, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements.Maintain work areas in a clean and orderly condition.
