Job summary

Nortek in Oklahoma City is seeking a 2nd shift Electrical Assembler to build, wire, test and troubleshoot electrical and electromechanical assemblies according to engineering specs and wiring diagrams. You will route, cut, strip and terminate wires, install relays, switches and sensors, read drawings, perform continuity tests and basic troubleshooting.

Qualifications

Read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings.
Experience with electrical testing equipment like multimeters or testers.
Commitment to safety and quality in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Assemble electrical and electromechanical products per blueprints and work instructions.
Route, cut, strip, terminate, and connect wires, cables, and harnesses.
Install components such as relays, switches, sensors, and motors.
Read and interpret drawings, BOMs, and specifications.
Perform continuity checks and basic troubleshooting of assemblies.
Maintain accurate production and quality records and follow 5S practices.
Operate hand and power tools safely and assist with cross-training.
