Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Full Time - Assembler on 2nd Shift for our Arden, NC location. The role involves winding, wiring, mechanical assembly, and copper fabrication to build sub-assemblies and complete control equipment units.

You will inspect, package, and prepare units for shipment while following production schedules and safety protocols. Prior wiring and mechanical assembly experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Willingness to perform mechanical assembly and wiring tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics.
• Experience with basic tooling and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire Main Breaker Units according to specifications and production requirements.
• Perform full mechanical assembly, including structural build-out and installation of electrical components.
• Execute complex wiring tasks using schematics, diagrams, and BOM.
• Ensure copper connections meet required bracing specifications.
• Inspect completed work to verify electrical and mechanical performance standards.
• Complete final cleanup, packaging, and preparation of units for shipment.
• Follow production schedules to meet Main Breaker demand.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team to identify and escalate production issues.
