Job summary

nVent is seeking an Electrical Assembler to install wiring, fixtures, and control equipment in our Oregon, WI facility. You will interpret safety instructions and work with 120/240V and higher voltage systems, ensuring assemblies meet NEC standards.

This indoor role runs 6am–4:30pm Mon-Thu with up to 10 hours on Fridays; commercial/industrial experience is preferred; reliable transportation to the Oregon, WI location is required.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Commercial/Industrial experience preferred but not mandatory.
  • Must thrive in an indoor work environment.
  • Reliable transportation to our Oregon, WI location daily.
  • Enthusiastic about working a schedule from 6am – 4:30pm M-Th, with up to 10 hours on Fridays.

Responsibilities

  • Install wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment accurately.
  • Apply knowledge of various electrical conduit types to measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install flawlessly.
  • Handle 120/240 single phase, 120/240V delta 3 phase, 120/208V 3 phase, and 277/480V 3 phase systems with expertise.
  • Join and finish wires to lighting, power, and control equipment efficiently.
  • Connect power cables to equipment ensuring strict adherence to safety standards.
  • Apply working knowledge of the NEC to ensure compliance and safety.
  • Experience with switchgear integration is a plus but not required.
