Job summary

VIP Staffing is looking for skilled individuals to install conduits, cable trays, and various electrical devices in New Braunfels, Texas. The role requires proficiency in using power and hand tools as well as ensuring the safety and functionality of electrical circuits.

The ideal candidate has experience in electrical installations and can work Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, with possible overtime and Saturdays.

• Experience in installing electrical conduits and devices.
• Ability to use various power and hand tools.
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Install conduit, cable tray, electrical devices, and control equipment.
• Measure, cut, bend, and assemble electrical conduit.

Job description

Pay: $20-$24/hr DOE.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am-5:00pm (possible overtime & Saturdays).

Summary: Installs conduit, cable tray, and wires/cables, electrical devices, and control equipment by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Other duties may be assigned.

• Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles, and installs electrical conduit, cable tray along with mounting electrical components in electrical enclosures.
• Pulls wiring through conduit/cable tray.
• Installs (ability to use power & hand tools) control components such as power supplies, transformers, switches, relays, breakers, PLC in control panels.
• Install wiring in the electrical control panel.
• Installing wires by stripping insulation from wire, twisting crimping ferrules or soldering wires together.
• Connects wiring to pressure, temperature & level transmitters and electromechanical devices (level switches, solenoids, breakers relays, operators & PLC) and power equipment.
• Connects power cables to equipment, such as electric heater or motor, and installs grounding leads.
• Verify continuity of circuit to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components with verification of instruments such as an ohmmeter.
• Observes functioning of installed equipment or system to detect hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement.
• Repairs faulty equipment or systems.
