Job summary

Munters in Amesbury, MA seeks an Electrical Assembler to join the manufacturing team. You will assemble, wire, and test electrical components and systems per blueprints and engineering instructions, with strong attention to detail, dexterity and safety.

Candidates should read schematics and diagrams, interpret BOMs and layouts, and operate hand and power tools. Experience with ERP systems and NEC code knowledge is preferred, with 3–5 years in related roles.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Skilled with operating hand, power and pneumatic tools common to the trade.
• Able to read circuit diagrams, schematics, ladder logic diagrams and layouts.
• Able to read BOMs, production schedules and blueprints.
• Able to learn overhead cranes and forklift operation.
• Able to troubleshoot circuits and devices and suggest improvements.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems.
• 3–5 years of related experience.
• Familiar with NEC code requirements and interpretation.
• Experience with motors, motor starters, relays, PLCs, sensors.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical components, wiring harnesses, control panels and equipment per specs.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Assembler to j oin our manufacturing team. The Electrical Assembler will be responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical components and systems according to blueprints, schematics, and engineering instructions. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, manual dexterity, and a solid understanding of electrical systems and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical components, wiring harnesses, control panels, and electrical equipment according to specifications.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
• Install, route, connect, and secure wires, cables, terminals, connectors, switches, and other electrical components.
• Use hand tools, power tools, crimping tools, soldering equipment, and measuring instruments as required.
• Perform visual inspections and basic electrical tests to verify proper assembly and functionality.
• Identify assembly defects, wiring errors, and damaged components, and report issues to the supervisor.
• Follow standard operating procedures, engineering specifications, and quality control requirements.
• Maintain accurate assembly records and complete production documentation.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Work with engineering, quality, and production teams to meet daily production targets.
• Follow all applicable electrical safety procedures and company policies.

Required Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Skilled and experienced with operating hand, power and pneumatic operated tools common to the trade.
• Skilled and experienced with reading circuit diagrams and schematics, ladder logic diagrams and layout drawings
• Skilled and experienced to read and interpret written instructions, bill of materials, production schedules and blueprints
• Ability to learn how to properly handle overhead cranes and forklift
• Ability to troubleshoot circuits and devices and recommend changes or improvements
• Working knowledge of ERP systems
• 3-5 years related experience
• Experience or exposure to lean concepts
• Familiarity with current NEC code requirements and interpretation.
• Preferred experience with electrical theory and practice as applied to the operation of such components as electric motors, motor starters, contactors, control relays, time delay relays, circuit breakers, fusing, PLC's, fluid flow and temperature sensors, and other related electrical, pneumatic and mechanical components.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel, climb, maneuver, stoop, squat, grasp, reach and carry, or otherwise move objects exerting up to 75 pounds force
• Daily walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing for sustained periods of time, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts and/or operation of machines; using measurement devices; and/or assembly of fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.
