Job summary

Edge Electric is seeking an Electrical Apprentice to assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems under the guidance of experienced electricians. The role emphasizes safety, code adherence, and hands-on learning to grow technical skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Enrollment in or completion of an electrical apprenticeship program.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components is expected.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Valid Apprentice License may be required.
• Previous electrical work experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation of electrical raceways, wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and work orders.
• Follow safety procedures and work instructions from supervisors.
• Support journeymen and foremen in various tasks.
• Help troubleshoot electrical issues and assist in repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
