Job summary

DisplayMax, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Apprentice (Travel) to join a team doing commercial electrical work across the Great Lakes states.

You will travel with a small crew to client retail stores, work overnight when stores are closed, and contribute to installing, wiring, and maintaining electrical systems while following NEC and local codes. Must be a licensed Electrical Apprentice in Michigan with at least 2,000 hours on-the-job experience, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to

Qualifications

• Must live in Michigan due to travel requirements.
• Minimum 2,000 hours of verifiable on-the-job experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willing to travel and be away from home during the work week (home on weekends).
• Familiarity with NEC, state, and local electrical codes.

Responsibilities

• Travel with a small crew to client retail stores
• Work overnight shifts
• Re-route check lanes, install refrigeration electrical, and more
• Install and repair electrical systems, fixtures, switches, receptacles, and equipment
• Follow safety protocols and electrical codes
• Troubleshoot and maintain existing electrical systems
• Keep detailed records of work and assist with general labor as needed
• Help with vehicle/tool upkeep and site cleanliness
