Job summary

Watson Electrical in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Apprentice - Helper 1 to learn under experienced electricians. This full-time role supports installation, maintenance, and repairs while you attend the Watson Apprenticeship School.

You will prepare tools and materials, follow safety guidelines, document issues for supervisors, and participate in training sessions to build practical skills and progress toward electrical certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current driver's license in state of work.
• English language proficiency (verbal and written).
• Eligible to work in the country of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist team with maintenance, repair, installation, and operational activities.
• Prepare tools, materials, and equipment for daily tasks.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety practices on site.
• Document and report issues to supervisors as required.
• Participate in training sessions and apprenticeship classes.
• Work with installation, alterations, additions and/or repairs of electrical systems.
• Complete final apprenticeship test with a minimum 80% passing score.
