Job summary

Ontivity is seeking an Electrical Apprentice to assist licensed electricians in completing electrical work orders. You will read drawings and NEC specs, test equipment, and install or repair wiring and panels. Travel and overtime may be required. This safety-sensitive role emphasizes quality, teamwork, and ongoing training.

Candidate will support maintenance of AC and DC systems, read schematics, and collaborate with team members to diagnose and solve issues, while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• One or more years of apprentice electrician or higher experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Electrician to read drawings, schematics, and NEC specifications to plan layouts.
• Test electrical equipment for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
• Install, repair, or replace wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, lighting, and panels in AC/DC systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and testing of electrical systems (AC/DC).
• Ensure safety and quality control in all tasks and document maintenance.
