Overview

Estes Electric Inc. is looking for motivated Electrical Apprentices to join our Field Operations team. This role is designed for individuals who have some hands-on experience in commercial and residential construction and are ready to grow their career in the electrical trade. As an Apprentice, you'll work under the supervision of Journeymen and Foremen, gaining the skills and certifications needed to become a licensed electrician while contributing to high-quality electrical installations on active job sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Journeyman and Foreman electricians on commercial and residential projects.
  • Perform basic electrical installations, repairs, and troubleshooting under supervision.
  • Read and interpret simple blueprints and follow technical instructions.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.
  • Learn to operate tools and equipment safely and effectively.
  • Support the crew with material handling, inventory, and setup.
  • Participate in apprenticeship training and on-the-job mentoring.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years of experience in commercial and/or residential construction.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the electrical trade.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.
  • Valid driver\'s license and reliable transportation required.
  • Electrical license or enrollment in an apprenticeship program preferred.
