Position Summary

As an electrical apprentice you will be responsible for assembling, assisting, and completing various tasks or objects to ensure high-quality results.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble signal arms and fixtures on power poles prior to installation.
  • Assist with setting poles, structures, and power foundations.
  • Shovel rock, tamp poles, and tamp trenches.
  • Glue pipe and pull wire in conduit.
  • Tie steel cages.
  • Assist in concrete pours and finishing.
  • Load, unload, and haul materials and equipment.
  • All other duties as assigned.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, extreme cold, and extreme heat. The noise level is usually moderate.
