Job summary

Malace|HR is currently seeking an Electrical Apprentice to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems at various job sites. This role offers hands-on experience alongside experienced electricians and a clear path toward becoming a licensed electrician.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety procedures.
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a willingness to learn.
• Reliable transportation to job sites.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed electricians with the installation of wiring, lighting systems, and other electrical components.
• Pull wire, cut conduit, and prepare materials for electrical installations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe and working condition.
• Ensure work is performed in compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, and safety standards.
• Support the team with troubleshooting electrical issues under supervision.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the lead electrician or supervisor.
