Job summary

TLS Group, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Apprentice to support on-site construction in Oklahoma City. You will load and unload materials, pull wires, terminate cables, set lighting equipment, build services, and help with trenches to keep the site clean, safe, and efficient.

Candidates must hold an Electrical Apprentice License, a valid driver’s license, and be able to kneel, bend, lift heavy materials, and stay calm under pressure. Strong organization and communication skills are essential.

Job Details

THE ELECTRICAL APPRENTICE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING A CLEAN, SAFE, AND EFFICIENT CONSTRUCTION SITE WHILE ALSO SUPPORTING THE OVERALL PROJECT.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

• Load and unload job site materials.
• Pull wire (electrical cables, conduit, etc.).
• Terminate wires.
• Set all traffic signal/ lighting equipment.
• Build services/ controllers.
• Dig trenches and backfill holes to prepare for the construction site.
• Operate equipment and heavy machinery as needed at site.
• Assist with excavation (shoveling rock out of areas heavy equipment cannot reach).
• Set pull boxes.
• Maintain and inspect equipment.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Electrical Apprentice License.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to kneel, bend, and lift heavy materials.
• Ability to focus and keep calm under pressure.
• Excellent organization and planning skills to prioritize and balance work.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to communicate clearly and professionally.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Job sites that are hot in the summer and cold in the winter, hazardous, noisy, and dusty.
• Occasional work in warehouse.
