Job summary

Knobelsdorff Enterprises (KE) seeks energetic apprentices to help install PV systems, wire DC/AC feeder circuits, and support electrical testing on challenging projects.

Enroll in KE Apprenticeship, travel up to 100%, lift 50 lbs, pass drug screen; join a team that values ownership and hands-on learning.

Qualifications

• Enrollment and good standing in the KE Apprenticeship Program.
• Willingness to travel (up to 100%).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions.
• Prior documented electrical hours (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Assist in pulling wire for PV string, DC, and AC feeder systems
• Complete plug-and-play module connections and manage module leads
• Perform DC terminations and label wiring for string wire, combiners, and inverters
• Support AC terminations at inverters, transformers, and switchgear
• Assist in electrical testing: insulation resistance and voltage tests
• Interpret construction drawings and specifications to ensure accurate installs
• Use hand and power tools to install racking and modules per design
• Participate in daily safety and work planning meetings
• Complete tasks using KE’s internal software systems for reporting and documentation
• Learn from leadership and ask questions to gain a full understanding of assignments
• Communicate proactively with supervisors regarding issues or deviations from scope
