Job summary

Compu Dynamics is seeking an Electrical Apprentice to join our Install team. This entry-level role offers hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to electrical systems in commercial environments.

Under the guidance of experienced electricians, you will read plans, prepare work areas, and assist with wiring, conduit, and installation while upholding safety and compliance. Travel between sites may be required and a valid driver’s license is needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Enrolled in an electrical apprenticeship within 1 year of hire.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret plans and specifications for assigned projects.
• Prepare work areas for the installation of equipment.
• Set up and operate tools such as hydraulic benders, power threaders, power pullers, and cable vacuum systems.
• Assist with all aspects of commercial electrical installation according to plans, specifications, and applicable codes.
• Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit.
• Assist in mounting and strapping conduit.
• Connect wiring and equipment per code and job specifications.
• Communicate job status, issues, and recommendations to management in a timely manner.
• Provide accurate and timely documentation of work performed.
• Operate company or personal vehicle in compliance with all local laws.
• Adhere to safety protocols and operate vehicles and equipment safely.
• Report hazards and risks promptly; contribute to a safe and secure working environment.

Position Summary

The Electrical Apprentice is an entry-level role that offers hands-on training, mentorship, and the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the electrical industry. Working under the direction of experienced electricians, this position supports the installation of electrical systems in commercial environments, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to specification.

Work Environment

Must be able to conduct site walks, climb ladders, and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Must be comfortable working in manufacturing and job site environments.

Travel

Travel between job sites may be required.

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED.

• 1-4 years of experience in the field or related area.

• Enrolled in an electrical apprenticeship program within 1 year of hire.

• Valid driver’s license in good standing.

• Experience working in data centers.

Compu Dynamics Pay Range

$20-$30 USD

Compu Dynamics offers a comprehensive benefits package that supports the health, well-being, and growth of our team members. Full-time employees are eligible for:
