Job summary

Greif, Inc. in Ohio is seeking an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to perform maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems across a production environment.

You will install, calibrate, test, and repair electromechanical and pneumatic control circuits, working closely with electricians and operating SCADA/DCS systems to keep plant operations efficient. The role requires strong reading of schematics and blueprints, with emphasis on safety and continuous skill growth

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Five years of education, training, and/or combination.
  • Experience with electrical and instrumentation maintenance and control systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical and instrumentation equipment.
  • Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair control circuits and systems.
  • Read schematics, manuals, and blueprints; maintain logs and files.
  • Work with electricians to install new equipment and ensure safety compliance.
  • Maintain SCADA, DCS, PLC, and HMI related systems.

They are skilled in the fabrication, installation, inspection, testing, adjustment, and repair of electronic, electromechanical, and pneumatic control circuits and systems. These systems record, indicate, and control the operation of various machines, including process measurement and control instrumentation.
