Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technologists and Technicians US Person Experience supporting EMC qualification testing in accordance with DO-160, MIL-STD-461, or similar aerospace standards. Experience supporting test setup integration and troubleshooting. Experience reviewing test data, interpreting results, and investigating test outages. Strong written and verbal technical communication skills.
Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technologists and Technicians Support electromagnetic compatibility (EMI/EMC/EEE) testing of aerospace products and systems. Perform EMC qualification testing using established qualification test procedures. Support testing against program-specific EMC requirements similar to DO-160 and MIL-STD-461.
Operate equipment and systems during testing following established procedures and technical instructions. Generate shift reports documenting plans, progress, observations, and next steps. Support EMC test bench setup, including wire harness layout, unit placement, and production breaks. Integrate test setups and verify system functionality and monitored parameters. Coordinate with test lab personnel to support test execution and progress. Support technical documentation and review test data. Maintain route books and test logbooks. Coordinate with EMC Engineers and EMC Project Engineers. Assist with disassembly and packing of test setups after testing is complete.
