Qualifications
Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively as a liaison between the Maintenance Manager and the Maintenance Team
- Organize and lead team members on assignments and projects
- Manage time and deadlines efficiently
- Promote continuous improvement through training and updating PMs
- Prioritize safety and lead by example in setting standards for the Maintenance Team
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, cleanliness, attitude, work ethic, and respect for colleagues
- Possess advanced knowledge of electrical systems, PID controls, IO readings, PLCs, DC and AC motors and drives, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Restore machinery to a condition better than its original state
- Ensure drawings, programs, and manuals are accurate and up to date
- Demonstrate superior troubleshooting skills and implement permanent solutions
- Use mathematical formulas to solve mechanical problems
- Handle equipment and tools properly and carefully
- Read, create, and update mechanical drawings
- Exhibit excellent follow-up skills and attention to detail
- Be willing to work overtime, cover shifts, and respond to call-ins as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Education
- Two-year technical degree
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of industrial equipment maintenance experience in manufacturing
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Experience with Epicor or other maintenance-specific software
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Organization and documentation skills
- PLC programming and troubleshooting experience
- Ability to troubleshoot AC and DC drives at the board level
- Leadership skills for working in and leading teams
- Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, blueprint reading, hydraulic, pneumatics, arc welding, gas welding, and cutting
- Commitment to safety and quality
- Self-directed with good time management skills
- Forklift certification
Essential Functions
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Reading, writing, visual acuity
- Ability to ascend/descend stairways and platforms up to 50+ feet
- Standing for 12 hours, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting/carrying up to 30 pounds (higher weights require two persons)

- Troubleshooting industrial automation equipment
