About the Job:
The Electrical & Controls Supervisor has responsibility and accountability for supervising the daily execution of electrical & maintenance activities in their area of responsibility. This role requires strong and effective communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a sound background in the technical proficiencies required for the maintainability of the fixed plants, electrical infrastructure and equipment. They will be committed to safety as their top priority. The supervisor assigns and coordinates electrical activities with work crews, provides daily safety meetings, leadership, and guidance to carry out planned Preventive and Predictive Electrical tasks.
The Electrical & Controls Supervisor’s focus is on safety, fixed plant, electrical infrastructure, equipment availability/reliability, electrical technicians’ productivity and costs. The Electrical and Controls Supervisor directs daily execution of work processes and provides leadership to the team of electrical technicians.
Responsibilities:
The Electrical and Controls Supervisor is committed to safety as the top priority and to ensure compliance with all applicable Federal/State Regulations, safety policies and standards, including the National Electrical Code. The Electrical and Controls Supervisor is the direct link with the electrical technicians who physically perform the work as planned, scheduled and break-in work. The Supervisor must be proactive at all times.
