Job summary

Fruition Group US seeks an Electric Propulsion Engineer to support design, development, analysis, testing, and integration of advanced electric propulsion systems. You will work across multidisciplinary teams to develop architectures, perform trade studies, and support hardware from concept through qualification.

The ideal candidate is hands-on with strong analytical skills and experience in electric propulsion, power electronics, motors, energy storage, or related technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace, mechanical, electrical, or related engineering.
• 3+ years in propulsion, powertrain, or energy systems.
• Experience with analysis, modeling, and simulation tools.
• Knowledge of electric propulsion architectures and energy storage.
• Experience with calculations, trade studies, and evaluations.
• Familiarity with systems engineering and product development.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design electric propulsion systems and subsystems for aerospace, automotive, marine, or other advanced mobility applications.
• Perform propulsion sizing, performance modeling, and trade studies to support design decisions.
• Analyze system performance, efficiency, thermal management, reliability, and integration.
• Develop mathematical models and simulations to evaluate propulsion behavior.
• Support selection and integration of motors, power electronics, batteries, controllers, and hardware.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, software, and test teams throughout development.
