Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix, Arizona is seeking an Electric Power Generation Principal Project Engineer (Finance) to drive program performance within Power Systems. You will report to the Sr Engineering Manager and work in a hybrid Phoenix location with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include leading systems and test engineering, maintaining IMS, tracking milestones, CAM activities, and liaising with customers; requires 15+ years in project or test engineering and CAM experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (STEM).
• Minimum of 15 years in project engineering, test engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Control Account Management (CAM).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), track milestones, and ensure adherence to technical requirements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
• Act as the primary liaison between leadership and customers, providing regular program status updates.

Electric Power Generation Principal Project Engineer (Finance)

Be part of the Electric Power Generation Project Engineering team assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance within Honeywell Power Systems. This position will be a key focal within the Project Engineering team, working directly with Project Leadership, the Customer, and a cross-functional team.

You will report directly to our Sr Engineering Manager, and you'll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on a Hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Support and lead systems and test engineering efforts including requirements management, system integration, and engine development/qualification test efforts
• Develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), track project milestones, and ensure adherence to strict technical requirements
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as necessary to achieve project goals
• Prepare and present monthly budget and schedule updates, including Control Account Management (CAM) activities
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria
• Act as the primary liaison between team leadership and customers, providing regular updates on program status and addressing any concerns

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in Project engineering, Test engineering, or related discipline
• Experience with Control Account Management (CAM)
