Job summary

work for elite is seeking a warehouse associate for 2nd shift (2pm–10:30pm) or 3rd shift (10pm–6:30am) with possible overtime. The role involves cold storage duties, loading and unloading freight, labeling, sorting, wrapping and packing merchandise, and picking orders for shipment.

You must be able to lift 50+ lbs and operate equipment such as Electric Pallet Jack in a fast-paced environment with some overtime potential.

Qualifications

• Experience operating pallet jacks and warehouse equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with machinery.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using warehouse equipment safely.
• Label, sort, wrap, pack and repack merchandise.
• Pick orders for shipment and assemble items for shipping.
• Must be able to carry 50+ lbs.
• Work in cold storage environments; fast-paced with industrial machinery.

Job description

Shifts: (2nd shift: 2pm - 10:30pm) Possible OT, (3rd shift: 10pm - 6:30am) Possible OT

Additional Notes:

Cold storage environment. Warehouse bays are kept at a constant 6 degrees (and below zero in certain areas).

Ability to withstand cold storage temps for extended periods of time (warm gear provided by company).

Must have experience using Electric Pallet Jack.

Load and unload freight using equipment in an efficient and safe manner.

Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking.

A fast-paced work environment with, in and around industrial machinery.

Must be able to carry 50+ Lbs.

Pick orders for shipment and assemble various types of merchandise to be shipped.
