Job summary

TECO-Westinghouse invites applications for the Associate Engineer II – Stock Motors role. You will apply broad knowledge of AC electric motors to support Stockers, sales teams, and engineering, interfacing with production factories to resolve technical issues, provide drawings and performance data, and guide motor modifications.

This role emphasizes product improvement, project management, training, and compliance with ISO 9001 and company standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering preferred
• 10+ years of related experience in motor manufacturing, service, or repair
• 5+ years of experience managing complex projects
• Experience with medium- and high-voltage rotating machines preferred
• 3–5 years applying relevant industry standards

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with production factories and engineering on technical issues, drawings, and revisions
• Provide daily technical and post-sales support, including drawings and performance data
• Conduct root cause analyses of motor failures and determine corrective actions
• Assist Stockers and sales teams with motor recommendations and integration
• Coordinate preparation of drawings, repair instructions, and Stocker reports
• Deliver training sessions on electric motor applications and product use
• Identify opportunities for product improvement and new development
