Job summary

Ilmor is seeking an Electric Motor Test Technician to join our New Hudson team. You will support assembly and testing of the ION Electric Outboard Motor and assist colleagues on Marine engines. The role emphasizes following quality procedures, manual handling, and using tools on an assembly line.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Associate's Degree in Electrical, Automotive or similar preferred.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in a mechanical or electrical production/assembly environment.
• Ability to organize and plan multiple tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and quality procedures and read diagrams as required.
• Assemble engine and electrical parts with fasteners by hand or with power tools.
• Inspect motors for defects during and after assembly.
• Install motors into test tanks and monitor performance.
• Move materials and operate assembly-line equipment.
