Candidates must have extensive experience in industrial electric motors, with preference for those with motor mechanic winding experience. The ideal applicant will be familiar with OEM and EASA specifications, ensuring proper procedures are followed at all times. This role requires US citizenship or Green Card status, along with a strong grasp of safety practices and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, disassemble, repair, and test a variety of electrical/mechanical equipment (AC/DC motors, generators, pumps, gearboxes, etc.)
• Utilize tools such as multimeters, high-pot testers, growlers, micrometers, and calipers for accurate diagnostics and measurement
• Conduct failure analysis, document findings, and follow proper procedures for part identification and reassembly
• Perform in-house and on-site repairs; follow OEM, EASA, and customer specifications
• Maintain accurate records of testing, troubleshooting, and final quality checks
• Requires 13 years of experience or relevant training (EASA/military)
• Strong skills in diagnostics, repair, and mechanical/electrical safety practices at a skilled trades level

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Industrial Electric Motor Experience (not automotive motors)
• Motor Mechanic Experience
• Motor Mechanic Experience Winding experience - preferred
• 9001 - preferred
