Job summary

The position leads complex projects and represents the Division in meetings and forums. Responsibilities include supervising staff, developing recommendations on energy policy, and supporting AB 825 initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead, plan, prioritize, and coordinate section activities, staff assignments, resources, and complex projects.
• Review and oversee high-quality work products including policy analyses and staff proposals.
• Provide policy and technical expertise on utility regulation and energy markets.
• Support implementation of AB 825 and related energy market initiatives with oversight.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop professional staff, including performance appraisals.
