Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of high school diploma or GED.
• Over eight years of experience in electrical maintenance/construction with 3 years supervisory.
• Valid Ohio driver's license; insurable under city policy; Journeyman Lineworker apprenticeship or CDL Class A preferred.
• Any combination of education, training and/or experience equivalent to the minimum qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate maintenance and construction projects; set timelines; supervise crews; ensure safety.
• Oversee supervisors and staff; hire, train, evaluate, and manage leave/overtime.
• Write project specs; order supplies; ensure equipment availability and maintenance.
• Develop and implement safety policies and ensure compliance.
• Handle service calls and coordinate with utilities; manage emergencies to restore power.
• Attend project progress meetings; interact with developers and other utilities.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.
